Recharge & shine with Anita Ilicic this summer - open new doors to self-and body-awareness with Zhineng Qigong and Feel & Flow Yoga. 


Enjoy the smooth Qigong movements that help awaken your whole spine, making it flexible and soft; learn to move like a flying caterpillar, walk the centered and balanced walk of a crane, and breathe a nourishing and deep “Dantian breath”.


Experience breath awareness and inner space deepening during the Yin-inspired, "Feel & Flow" yoga sessions; and benefit from the transformational, healing power of learning to practice with a compassionate, loving heart.


This week we will deliver a daily Zhening Qigong session and a daily Feel & Flow Yoga session to help you recharged and shine, once again.


The Yin-inspired "Feel & Flow" yoga classes give us time to feel and explore the inner environment of our body and mind. Through the practice, we are given time to contemplate, breathe and feel the physical, energetic, and mental layers of our being. Mindfulness and healing imagery increases the harmonizing effect of the practice.


The Zhineng Qigong sessions aim to relax your heart, mind, and body and increase your self-awareness and the natural energy exchange between you and nature. By becoming aware of the energizing, opening effect of this practice, you will explore how to work with energy and consciousness. Want to go exploring? Come and join us!

Who is this program for?

This program is suitable for beginner-intermediate level Yogis, Qigongis, and practitioners of other holistic methods, or anyone in good health who is open to trying something new! This event will be conducted in English with German and Croatian translations available.

The Program  

Sunday Evening (at Suncokret) - Welcome Circle


Morning sessions:  90-minute morning practice, Monday - Thursday (at Suncokret) Friday (at Surprise Location) + 90-minute afternoon practice: Monday & Wednesday (at Suncokret) Tuesday & Thursday (by the sea or in nature). The Yin Yoga and Zhineng Qigong classes will take place alternately and start or end with meditation.


  • During the "Feel & Flow" Yin-inspired Yoga sessions, we will combine conscious, natural breathing with soft, flowing movements and the balancing, nourishing qualities of Yin to create a gentle experience that brings you right into the present moment. The Asanas, which are performed primarily on the floor and in sitting position, invite you to linger and become slow. The Yin and Slow qualities of the practice are a sustainable solution for many physical and mental imbalances in today's fast-moving world.

  • Zhineng Qigong sessions incorporate (mainly standing) slow, easy to learn, flowing movements and "silent" postures, all of which are performed repetitively and in a meditative state of deep relaxation. The practice spectrum ranges from loosening and relaxing to invigorating exercises and postures. The body and the concentrated, attentive mind are used to control the flow of vital energy, or "Qi", which stimulates the body.



This program is interwoven into our weekly itinerary, to provide a complete holistic retreat adventure on Hvar Island - the Suncokret way!


Included in the Recharge & Shine Program Package is a 60-minute Pranic Energization Meditation Session to recharge all the layers of your being with an abundant flow of life-force energy.

Please note: In case there are fewer than 4 participants for this event, we reserve the right to adjust the program as needed, and will instead focus on creating a more personalized experience for each individual attending the retreat. Thanks for your flexibility!

What is Zhineng Qigong?

Yin-Inspired, "Feel & Flow" Yoga

Today, in most people's lives, an active, exhaustive Yang lifestyle is emphasized. Turning your attention toward Yin qualities during the Feel & Flow Yoga sessions will restore and bring balance and harmony between Ying and Yang within you.


Feel & Flow Yoga uses floor poses that are held for 3-5 minutes in order to passively work on our tissues by practicing mindfully, with attention and intention.


Yin energy is yielding, allowing and nourishing; it deepens your awareness, gives you the opportunity to experience what is really happening, right here, right now.

During Feel & Flow Yoga sessions we don´t ask whether the pose is right or wrong, rather "how does it feel?" This is a softer, more all-inclusive approach to yoga, which supports relaxation and exploration.

Learn the ancient art of becoming still, of deep listening, of "accepting what is given" in the present moment, and of tuning into the internal, softer aspects of your own nature.
