Sunday Evening (at Suncokret) - Welcome Circle
Morning sessions: 90-minute morning practice, Monday - Thursday (at Suncokret) Friday (at Surprise Location) + 90-minute afternoon practice: Monday & Wednesday (at Suncokret) Tuesday & Thursday (by the sea or in nature). The Yin Yoga and Zhineng Qigong classes will take place alternately and start or end with meditation.
During the Yin sessions we will use floor poses that are held for a longer period of time in order to passively work on our tissues. By practicing mindfully, with attention and intention, we deepen our awareness and have the opportunity to experience what is really happening with ourselves, right here, right now.
Zhineng Qigong sessions incorporate (mainly standing) slow, easy to learn, flowing movements and "silent" postures, all of which are performed repetitively and in a meditative state of deep relaxation. The practice spectrum ranges from loosening and relaxing to invigorating exercises and postures. The body and the concentrated, attentive mind are used to control the flow of vital energy, or "Qi", which stimulates the body.
