	Global Mala for Peace 13 - 19 September, 2009 Join us for our 2nd global mala event and take part in an unforgettable week of yoga, prayer & meditation dedicated to harvesting peace worldwide. A Mala is a string of beads used for mantra or prayer repetition. Depending on the nature of the beads, a Mala can also protect the one who wears it. The purpose of the Global Mala Project is to unite the global yoga community from every continent in the world, forming a mala around the earth through collective intentions and practices based upon the sacred cycle of 108. Studios, teachers and yoga organizations across the globe will be participating in raising funds and awareness for some of the most essential issues of our times. To commemorate this important event, Day 6 of our retreat will be devoted to 108 rounds of yoga bliss including sun salutations, meditation & chanting, uniting us to peace waves being created by like-minded yogis worldwide. Our Cause 10% of retreat fee will be donated on behalf of each participant to Animal Friends Croatia.
